ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ Business Society (VCBS) in collaboration with ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ and Business Center Corporation (BCC) successfully hosted an Internship Fair, which was held one July 23rd at ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ QI Campus Hall.
For the internship fair, ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ CAST programme partners, SME Hub vendors of Business Center Corporation and partners of VCBS participated as exhibitors.
Furthermore, clubs operated by the ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ Business Society conducted fun and exciting games throughout the fair, such as a gaming stall in collaboration with Dragon Zone, along with food stalls and live performance from the ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ student band for the participants to enjoy.
The Vice President of ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ Business Society Mr. Ahmed Uwais Mohamed, mentioned that the purpose of conducting an internship fair is to provide a platform for students explore career opportunities and find a way to earn while studying at college. He thanked all the partners of the fair and staff of ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ who assisted them in making this festival successful one.
The General Secretary of ÃÜÌÒÊÓƵ Business Society Ms. Aminath Sana Ali highlighted that the event saw a participant turnout of more than 100 visitors, with 60+ registrations to apply for internship during the fair. She stated that overall, the event was a success, and that the business society plans to conduct the Internship fair at a larger scale in the upcoming years.
